For the summer assignment, I produced 10 watercolour and line illustrations showcasing various aspects of my summer, such as something which tasted good, something I heard and something that made me happy. I reflected on these questions and produced the above illustrations.
"Love the dot/line effect!"
"Elephant is my favourite, it's a really good illustration but it's so cute."
"Love the use of watercolour and how you use it to shade."
"Cool way to display the image!"
"This is trippy... I like it."
"These just look soooo nice super cute elephant I love the medium choice"
"These are really very awesome. I like your shirt. I have one similar"
"Really nice quality of line and you're really good with watercolours"
"Really really beautiful image making"
"Beautiful work - very delicate lines - you work with watercolour + thin pen super well - for me, the less bold ones work the best"
"Use of line is very effective"
These are the comments that were left behind on the table by my summer assignment. They all seem to focus on the use of medium, suggesting I made a good decision with watercolours and the way I approached the drawing and technique.
